Classic Cribbage comes with a free beta of our new internet game server, the HMS Freeverse. Play against family and friends from across town or across the ocean -- we encourage you to give it a try!
In order to play online, you first need to activate the HMS Freeverse. To activate it, simply run the game, and while looking at the Cribbage board type the following into your keyboard:
Option-Shift-B
This will cause the NETWORK menu to appear. Then you can either click on "Net Game" in the new game dialog or select "Embark" from the NETWORK menu. You must be connected to the internet in order to be able to play.
The network play is in beta, so we make no promises about it's functionality. Use at your own risk. That said, it works pretty darn well, and it's fun! It should be easy enough to use that you won't need any extra instructions, but if you do, you'll find them at:

Requirements
Classic Cribbage 1.0 requires Mac OS 8.1 or higher and a minimum of 8 megabytes of RAM. It also requires NetSprocket 1.7.1 (which we've so thoughtfully included in the Classic Cribbage folder) or higher.
